Backstory[]

Ora Stone is a Tiefling Rogue who grew up on the high seas, being raised on Captain Ashford's ship. Before coming to Raufel, Ora gained the favor of the goddess Kleth and was given Warlock abilities. Her original ship, the Eel's Jelly, capsized and sank during the Great Wave (or tsunami) that devastated Roufel.

Raufel[]

Ora disguised herself as her ward, Ophelia, when she first met Tenoch Coatl, Nitsuj Allsop, and Bubo in order to use them to find the Red Box which she was smuggling to bring to Jaret Valmir. Needing funds to build a new ship, Ora agrees to work with the party and travel with them to Copperforge.

Copperforge[]

Before leaving the city, Ora is given enchanted leather armor by Parn Hill, who as asked him to find his son, Gaff. During his journey north, Ora encounters a cabin beside the road inhabited by Orithel. Orithel is an odd man with mysterious powers, but grants Ora the ability to call on his name to ignite her dagger with fire. Further north, the party find the remains of a ruin caravan that was attacked by Kurluk's orc clan. They rescue Gaff and take him back to Orithel's cabin, sending word to Parn to meet them there. At the cabin, they defeat a group of raiding orcs.

Waking the next morning, Ora finds Bubo and Orethil both gone. She and the party travel north and encounter Doro Tott, a Canikin. They agree to enter Thornbrush Forest to help find his two lost pups. Following the tracks and a spore-like mist, they reach a cave and do battle with a cloaked figure and his summed horrors. Many friends also join the battle and eventually they are victorious and return the two pups to Doro.

Entering Copperforge, Ora takes in a robot match in the Bowl, helping Bask win a bet. Later, she break open the sealed letter from Governor Syle to Queen Sleekrun. Meeting with the Queen, Ora is able to negotiate with her to agree to loan Raufel 10,000 platinum in exchange for 10 ships, as long as she can take one for herself. As further leverage, Ora and the party are able to rescue the queen's daughter from rogue battlebots. As a reward, the Queen grants her special armor with her insignia on it.

Ora, now acting as the Queen's hand, investigates the sabataoge of the weapons in the dungeon. Finding out it was Tenoch and Bubo, she tries to hire Hush and the assassin's guild to take out scapegoats. While there, she, along with Nitsuj and Starheart, overhear the sounds of battle stemming from the revolt of the Forgotten. Starheart convinces Meno, their leader, to trust her and they get Fizz Binkle, master tinkerer, to remove the prisoner's bracers. Ora order the guards and Klaxxon to stand down. However, after the battle, the Queen orders Ora to execute Meno. Reluctantly, she does.

Ora is placed in charge of the Forgotten and their mission to scout west for the orc horde. Knowing it will be a suicide mission, and hearing rumbling of discontent from the citizens, she begins fomenting rebellion within the city using a minotaur's horns as symbol. Bask helps her track down the weapon stockpile and she conspires with Fizz Binkle, Captain Grint, and the Flintbornes, to free the Forgotten while on their mission.

As Wisp Walker's caravan departs Copperforge, it is almost immediately attacked by multiple orc raiding parties. Despite her efforts, only a few guards and Forgotten remain, although they are able to complete their mission. Ora frees two of the last Forgotten and lets them flee west with Captain Grint. The third is accidentally killed.

Back in Copperforge, Ora meets with Minnow and Lynch who have kept the rebellion going and have gathered weapons. She and Starheat meet with the Queen and agree to a truce while the orc threat exists, although Ora wants the Queen to step down and create a democracy in the city. Later, she helps Nitsuj kill Carrib Black and meets the vampire Eldin, who agrees to help the city in exchange for a hundred gnomes to feed upon.

Ora attends the war council and helps plan the defense of Copperforge, suggesting that should the mountain fall and need to be destroyed, that the gnomes could flee to Raufel. Later that night, assisted by Eldin and Nitsuj, she is able to kill Snips Cutlass, who was a member of the cult of Kloht, fulfilling a contract with Hush. On his body they find a scroll with the location of the severed arm of the Copperforge Sahlite.

The next day, Ora and the others find Jerrot Valmir in Copperforge and agree to help him find silverblood ore to assist with his healing. Notified by Jerrot of the assassination of Governor Urit Syle, Ora and Bubo help Starheart sneak into the mercenary's guild to find proof of who paid for the job. When the city is rocked by several bombings, she is escorted to the site of the bombing on the Residential level, only to be stabbed a doppelganger. She lets lose you long planned signal, and the Forgotten, vampires, and Flintbornes all come to her aid.

After the battle, the party rests at the Tequila Mockingbird. When Nitsuj returns and tells them what happened with Kelrek, Starheart is upset and leaves, but Bubo convinces her to stay. The party leaves the city with the others to retrieve the silverblood for Jerrot Valmir. They find a stone giant attacking the wagon, but Ora convinces it to stand down.

As they return to Copperforge, the orc army approaches. Ora rejects their demands for surrender and battle begins. She directs the battle from the outcropping above the Main Gate. As their position is overrun and the orcs enter the city, Ora hides in Nitsuj's conjured hiding spot with the others. She shouts to Klaxxon to "prepare the goodbye." The party continues to battle a few remaining orcs and fel beats outside while the gnomes evacuate the mountain.

Having been overrun by wraiths, orcs, and elementals, Ora gives up her responsibility to call for the mountain's destruction to Vor and flees to the Peak level. After a brief battle with the demon that does not go well, the party flees out the Peak Gate. Ora wants to head west to her ship. Arguing about which way to go, the group agrees to travel north to rest. Along the way they discover the bodies dead gnomes, drained of blood by the vampires. In the night, Greyflower and Iron Horn bandits attempt to rob the party, but cease when they recognize Starheart. There is a happy reunion as both groups agree to travel north together.

Traveling North[]

After resting and bathing in a mountain lake, the party investigates a cave full of treasure. Nitsuj and Ora explores further, revealing the Tomb of the First Quai-Lem. At that moment, Eldin and the vampires attack but are defeated with the help of an angel of Gurnal. After swiftly defeating a mist dragon with the help of the dwarves, the party rests for the night.

The next day, the party returns to the tomb and witnesses Nitsuj reanimate one of the dead Quai, Ulnas, "The Willing." Ulnas explains that the Quai-Lem were banished from the Green Isles and are compelled to travel north to the Glasslands to their death, but he discovered a way for them to sacrifice another soul to gain extra life and resist the deadly cold. He will travel north once again to help his people and rally them against the recently freed Kelrek.

As the party travels north again, they are meet by Klaxxon Carbal and Fizz Binkle, who inform them of the fall of Copperforge. Ora is given the responsibility to decide to destroy the mountain, hopefully with Kurluk and Thaul Alhoon in it. She takes some time and asks Kleth for assistance. The party travels to Thatchweed to attend a dwarven festival of the moon.

The festival is interrupted by an attack by cultists and the theft of the town's central crystal that provides it with its power for the year. The cultists are quickly dealt with and the party learns that they have captured the Sahlite on their black ship and are sailing west with her. The party also recovers the mooncatch stone. It had been stolen by Jerrot Valmir to heal the injured gnomes. Starheart is able to recharge the gem and the festival resumes. Ora dances with Yeet Yeat Tinytoes, brother of Paragon.

After the festival, Ora receives a pair of tracking stones and enchants on her swords. Along with the party, the Iron Horn, Klaxxon, Fizz Binkle, Klack Flintborne, the Tinytoes, three dwarves, and the injured gnomes, she travel north toward the Steamfang Mountains. Along the way, the party is attacked by two giant salamanders and survives an avalanche. Realizing Copperforge is lost, Ora finally decides to blow it up, but not before Kurluk and Thaul Alhoon merge into a singe demonic form.
