Dragons of all types used to populate Sahl openly and freely long ago when the gods walked the earth. Once the gods left, there was no one to protect them from the fear of the lesser races and they were hunted aggressively by warriors of all races. Eventually Lothlen returned and gifted the dragons their ability to assume new forms and blend in with the various cultures of the world. Then Lothlen departed again and has not been seen since.
