Sahlen's Legacy Wiki

Kloht is the god of Death, Darkness, Destruction, know as "The Taker."  He is worshiped by orcs, goblins, other fel races, and cultists of all races.  He is chaotic evil and his symbol is a black circle with a central eye. He has six children, among them Kleth, Kelrek, and Kloch, who share his destructive power but use it for more devious ends. He (or one of his children) is likely responsible for the creation of the orcs, goblins, and other fel races.

One of the first six children of Sahlen, Kloht was jealous of his bother and sisters who got to create beautiful things.  He was just meant to pass things on.  He tried his hand at creation anyway, which created horrible things.  He was in love with Luidwyn and tried to embrace her creations, one of the Quai isles, but he brought it down under the sea and drowned them all.  In an effort to try to make amends, he had his daughter Kleth bring them back: twisted but living as tieflings. Kloht has been banished from Sahl by his brothers and sisters. There is a rumor that there is a sinkhole that leads directly to the underworld where he fell.

Kloht is being used by the Cult of the Many Eyes as a power source, draining him of his power.
